In john 11, jesus said that Lazarus’s sickness would not end in death, but that god’s glory would be shown through it.
That means to me that god will turn good out of all of our situations. So no matter what you may be going through, god can make good out of it. A few weeks ago, I fell and really injured my leg. It was partially my fault, because I was wearing a headset while walking out to my ride when I shouldn’t have been. Yet even that, god can use for good. (Remember romans 8:28. Look it up if you don’t know what it says). One thing he has done already is that I am more aware of others who have pain, because my leg has really pained me sometimes. There is something else that I don’t want us to forget, though. When Mary came up to him weeping, jesus was moved with compassion and wept himself. Even though jesus knows the outcome and that it will be good, he still feels our pain and feels for us when we have to go through the pain in the meantime. He is with us in that pain. Never forget that.
Prayer: thank you, god, that you are really there and feel our pain along with us. Thank you for being with us, and thank You for working good out of all of our bad situations.
